The school also offers the International Baccalaureate qualification to complement our excellent and well proven A and AS Level programme, an effective pathway to university and the world beyond. Although the emphasis is on academic study, Taunton School also ensures that students do not lose sight of their other opportunities and social interests. The School has an outstanding reputation in games and especially in debating, public speaking, music and drama helping to produce well-rounded students with that spark of originality and individuality which will set them apart. Taunton School believes that a school education should be life changing, not merely a daily ritual to be endured, and that it is their job to equip their pupils with the values and experiences for a future anywhere in the world.
